Beautifully written game...
I don't care what people say, point-and-click story-led adventures are the SHIZ NIT.
As a fellow writer, I roundly applaud your great success in creating a truly atmospheric, horrifying world to explore.
I liked how the texts featured small clues, logical leaps of faith to reward those who paid attention to the diaries, etc.
Once the Sudoku was complete, (damn maths) I fairly flew through the rest of the game by picking up the little hints that you left; which is a very important part of making a decent game -- leaving just enough of a breadcrumb trail for your player to follow while making him feel like he's exploring new ground.
SPOILERS OMG
The little gribbly buggers at the end were underwhelming, to say the least, and the buoy puzzle seemed very much tagged on, (hence the minus points on graphics and interactivity) but the package as a whole was great. Congratulations on a truly disturbing game, and if you'll excuse me, I'm off to better acquaint myself with the first Exmortis.
